Why this movie belongs

“This Is the End” is more than just slapstick – it’s a tribute to friendship, responsibility and the absurd side of stardom. The film combines biblical end-time imagery with modern drug humor and manages to incorporate emotional moments amidst all the silliness. Anyone who liked “Pineapple Express” or “Superbad” will get their money’s worth here – only even wackier. The meta-level and self-parody in particular mean that the movie still works the second or third time you watch it. And yes – there is a lot of smoking.
