Kal Penn as Kumar + Weed Interview

As always, Kumar is loud, unreasonable and completely stoned. Kal Penn brings the necessary charm to make you root for him anyway. Fun fact: The actor later actually worked in politics. In the movie, however, he’s all stoner.

  • Plays with full energy
  • Later in the real White House

John Cho as Harold

Harold is the calmer, somewhat stressed counterpart to Kumar. John Cho gives him heart, wit and genuine sympathy. Without his role, the movie would descend into pure chaos. With him, it simply remains well balanced.

  • Also known from “Star Trek”
  • Provides structure & calm moments

Will there be part 4?
