This authority issues cultivation licenses, monitors imports and checks compliance with regulations.

Cannabis may neither be grown in Germany nor imported from abroad without a permit from the Cannabis Agency. Every company must provide comprehensive proof of quality assurance and safety measures before it is even granted a permit.

What exactly does GMP involve?
