How does it actually work to order legal cannabis online? What’s behind our digital service CannaZen, which is currently making headlines and making it easier for many patients in Germany to access medicinal cannabis? After our first interview on Evosonic Radio, there were many questions from the community – so we gave a direct follow-up! From quality assurance to cannabis prescriptions

Questions from the community: When are tasting packages available?
In our interview, we answered many community questions: “What does the package look like?”, “Can you smell the packaging?” or “Is it really discreet?” The answer: Yes – the package is completely neutral. No indication of the contents on the outside, no logo, no marking. Vacuum-packed and odor-tight on the inside. No odor, no detection – simply discreet and safe.

How long did you work on CannaZen?

Question: “How long did you work on CannaZen?” A short startup insight from the first idea with Zen David (co-founder) at the BBQ to today with 30,000+ patients.

Question: “Competition from platforms like Dr. Ansay” ZEN! There is no competition, there is only love! Zen Stephan answers a question about Dr. Ansay.

How is the product shipped?

Question: “What does it say on the outside of the packaging?”

“In a neutral box, sealed airtight inside. No logo, no smell – absolutely discreet.”

Can you tell what’s inside?

Question: “So when I take the parcel out of the letterbox – does anyone notice?”

“No. Neither the packaging nor the label gives any indication of the contents. Pharmacy-compliant and anonymous.”

Why small quantities are difficult to implement

Question: “Will there soon be smaller trial quantities or 1g packs?”

“I think tasting packs are a wonderful idea – as soon as I’m allowed to, I’ll do it straight away.”

Although one-gram packs would be desirable, they are not practicable. Each dispensing is individually decanted, sealed and documented in the pharmacy – an enormous effort. We are currently examining whether 10g increments are possible in order to create more flexibility. The smaller the unit, the higher the price. Therefore, 15g is a good compromise for many patients.

Quality control and production

We do not produce ourselves, but work with certified partners who grow in modern GMP facilities in Germany. In our YouTube video, we give an exclusive insight into one of these facilities – from the light cycle to the harvest, everything is strictly regulated, documented and tested several times.

Question: “What about quality? Do you produce it yourself?”

“30-50 people work in one plant, every sixth day is harvesting – that’s real volume with real control.”

Triple testing – maximum safety

Before a flower reaches you, it is checked three times: at the producer, at the importer and finally in the pharmacy. Everything is documented – a clear difference to the black market.

New products, app & promotions for Mary Jane

We never stand still. We are currently planning six new varieties – including classics and new crosses. THC gummy bears will also be available soon. We are also developing an app that documents your orders, strains and experiences – almost like a digital diary for your therapy.

“They are on their way to the pharmacy – launch planned before the Mary Jane.”
