First:
What does “Bubatz” actually mean?
“Bubatz” is a colloquial, humorous term for cannabis that has become particularly popular in Germany. It first appeared in memes, TikToks and on social media and quickly became an integral part of youth and pop culture. The term is usually used loosely, for example in phrases such as “When bubatz?” or “Bubatz legal, when?”. Meanwhile, “Bubatz” is often symbolic of the issue of cannabis legalization and is also used in public debate.
In fact, not everyone knows or knew the term.
