Tourette’s diagnosis: living with an invisible imp
Fabiene suffers from a severe form of Tourette’s syndrome. Uncontrollable motor and verbal tics determine her everyday life – but one substance helps her: medical cannabis. Her life has changed since she started taking it on prescription.
Here (in the video below) she tells her story.
Even as a child, Fabiene sensed that she was different. At 17, the trembling and sudden movements became increasingly severe. She was finally diagnosed with severe Tourette’s syndrome.
- Constant uncontrollable tics
- Insults against family and strangers
- Social exclusion and loss of social contacts
Cannabis as medicine: a new glimmer of hope
