Norway Medical only

Recreational use is fully illegal — parliament rejected broader decriminalization in 2021. Medical access exists only through narrow, case-by-case named-patient exemptions, not a standard prescribing system.

Medical program
Norway's medicines regulator (DMP) grants access via special exemption ("godkjenningsfritak") on a named-patient basis only.
Traveling with medical cannabis
No official statement found for foreign patients. Norway is Schengen (though not EU) so Article 75 applies in principle, but this is unconfirmed — verify directly.
Information for general guidance only, not legal advice. Laws change — verify with official sources before traveling.
